About the event
AHTM Awareness Training
We invite you to take part in a meaningful morning of learning and conversation focused on awareness, prevention, and protection. This training is designed to equip adults with practical knowledge and tools to better understand human trafficking and help keep children and communities safe.
Through a panel discussion led by United Against Human Trafficking (UAHT) and Street Grace, you’ll gain insight into what human trafficking looks like today, where it happens, and how everyday community members can play a role in prevention. Street Grace will also share valuable guidance on safeguarding children in the digital age, including current online trends, popular apps, and practical ways to have informed, age-appropriate conversations with kids.
The training will take place at the Humble Campus Youth Loft (Generations Building) from 9:00–11:00 AM. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. This session is open to adults 18 years and older and is a great opportunity to grow in awareness, compassion, and confidence when facing these important issues.
