About the event
AHTM Awareness Training
Caregivers are invited to take part in a guided and practical training focused on protecting and supporting youth. Led by Love 146, this session is designed to help adults better understand the risks young people face and how to respond with care, wisdom, and confidence.
Participants will learn about common vulnerabilities youth experience and how those vulnerabilities can be targeted through grooming tactics. Love 146 will also share realistic, actionable steps caregivers can take to recognize signs of exploitation, respond appropriately, and help youth develop personalized safety plans.
The training will take place at the Humble Campus Youth Loft (Generations Building) from 9:00–11:00 AM. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. This session is open to adults 18 years and older and offers practical tools to help caregivers protect and advocate for the youth in their care.
