Following God’s plan for our lives isn’t always the easiest or most fun thing to do. In fact it can sometimes be the hardest thing to do but is always the most rewarding. For example in Matthew 26:39, we see Jesus with his face to the ground asking God to not make him go to the cross. But because Jesus knew God always knows best, he finished his request by saying “NEVERTHELESS, not as I will but as you will”. Let this be an encouragement to you today, and look for places in your life where you can follow God’s will, NEVERTHELESS.
